Franz Xaver von Riedmüller, Franz Xaver Edler von Riedmüller (born January 22 1829 in Konstanz, † October 27, 1901 in Stuttgart) was a German landscape painter. Franz Xaver von Riedmüller came late to painting, he was, as well as Carl Friedrich Deiker, trained by Johann Wilhelm Schirmer (1807-1863) at the Academy in Karlsruhe. He then lived in Strasbourg and Frankfurt am Main and from 1864 in Stuttgart. He received in Karlsruhe and London awards in the form of medals and was court painter in 1873 the Grand Duke of Baden, Frederick I of Baden.
